That said, if they're straight up saying they won't buy the game, and trying to persuade other people to join the same camp, then they go ahead and buy anyway, then sure that should absolutely be a black mark on their credibility and integrity. They need to be able to complain, and buy anyway, if that's how they feel. if they have to buy the game anyway for their career, or the problems wern't enough to prevent their purchase, how should they responsibly represent that position? So obviously they have to voice those complaints but. not complain at all about the parts they don't like in order to not give a false impression? That's not great, as it means they arn't lending their voice to an opinion they genuinely do hold. If that youtuber/streamer feels like they will be buying a game regardless of their misgivings, should they. I can understand that if this is a streamer or a youtuber, you might feel somewhat deceived if they go ahead and buy the game anyway, but you have to think about their alternative options. The amount of times Ive seen Reddit users, YouTubers or Twitch personalities speak out against how terrible a company is only to go on to support the product regardless is absurd, and I see the same kind of silliness going on in my day to say life talking with casual gamers.
